A hot hip hop and rap music single featuring two megastars Eminem and Rihanna from Eminem’s latest album “Recovery” is the number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for the seventh week.
The producer of the great song “Love The Way You Lie” is famous Alexander Grant known as Alex da Kid. The song is written by M. Mathers, A. Grant and H. Hafferman.
Eminem managed to record the song in two days. Alex da Kid says that he was thinking of Rihanna to sing with him, moreover, she was the only one to complete a perfect single.
In an interview with MTV, Rihanna said: “They reached out to us directly and they just said, ‘We have this song and we just think Rihanna would be perfect to sing it.’ And, of course, I was like, ‘OK, if I love it, I’ll definitely do it, because I love Eminem. And I love the song. It’s really beautiful, and it really stands out.”
The two of them managed to record an amazing song that bet music awards “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ as the “Best Rap/Hip-Hop Track.”
The rapper performed “Love the way you lie” both in Ireland and in Scotland, respectively at Oxegen 2010 festival and at the T in the Park festival.
But you shouldn’t simply listen to the song, because its video is worth watching as well. The video stars American actress and model Megan Fox and British actor Dominic Monaghan. The video shows a house on fire, where a couple gets swallowed up by the flames. The video depicts their love and hate as they fight, scream, break and make up things again.
The most striking thing is that the video had 18 million views in five days! Can you imagine it? “Love the way you lie” video bet a record on YouTube as the most viewed video in 24 hours and as of September 3, it gained over 75 million views. Do I need to say more?
