Everybody grows up at one point, and Miley Cyrus, also known as Hannah Montana, decided that it’s time to turn into a pop star from a sweet Disney girl.
No more blonde wigs or high school songs. The 17-year-old pop star decided to tell the world that she can’t be tamed.
The CD release date for Miley Cyrus’s album, titled “Can’t Be Tamed,” is June 22. It will be the second studio album released under the name Miley Cyrus. On the album she shows the other side of Hannah, who likes to rock and wear leather.
The album’s title-track was released on May 3 and also has a video, which is directed by Robert Hales, who has made videos for Britney Spears (“Break the Ice”), Janet Jackson (“Make Me”) and Craig David (“Unbelievable”).
You will be able to buy the latest album by Miley Cyrus as a standalone CD or a CD and DVD pack. The DVD will include a presentation about the “Miley World” worldwide concert tour.
Although Miley’s fans will be very happy to finally get their hand on her new album, they will have to wait for some time until they hear their favorite pop star sing again, as she’s planning to concentrate more on her career as an actress.
Concerning this topic she said: “I want to continue to do film. Later in life, another record. But for now, I’d like to focus on movies.”
Her last movie, “The Last Song,” was released on March 31. She plays a rebellious teen who, as in her previous movie (Hannah Montana: The Movie), has a talent for music. This is one of Miley’s first steps towards her film career.
