Famous pop singer Ricky Martin’s latest album called “Soul+Music+Sex” or MAS (Musica Alma Sexo) is already out. It was released on February 1.
The first single for his album entitled “The Best Thing About Me Is You,” is a duet sung with Natalia Jimenez. It was released in January and has already become a hit. It’s topping the Latin pop music chart, including the Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Airplay charts. The English version of the single has already received nearly three million views in YouTube. Though the album comprises 13 songs, Target has announced that the deluxe edition will comprise seven additional tracks. This is Martin’s first album after six years.
Martin devoted approximately two years to writing his Spanish CD, co-writing each track and reuniting with Desmond Child. The latter is the producer of his well-known and famous hits “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and “She Bangs.” He also wrote Latin music in English and Spanglish.
The 39 year old Grammy awards singer sold more than 20 million albums in the United States. Martin says that by this latest album he’s reached a new high. He also mentions that for the first time he was not forced to release an album.
Martin’s latest album is full of emotions.
“It’s going to be a very sexual tour ’cause it is a sexual album. So let’s just have fun and provoke,” he said.
According to Ricky’s website, his official tour through the U.S. will start on April 8. His first stop will be at Orlando, Florida, followed by Miami, Montreal, New Jersey and Chicago. Ricky will perform in 18 US cities.
