Time Flies With Oasis

Time Flies With OasisFifteen years of glory and wonderful music — this is what Oasis gave us. Being one of the greatest British rock bands ever, they unfortunately split up at the end of 2009. That was a tragedy for millions of fans all over the world.

The idea that this band will never release albums again drew all of them into despair. But less than one year later on June 14, the former band let us see the oasis in the desert releasing the complete collection of their singles in four CD’s bearing the title “Time Flies… 1994-2009.”

This band accompanied a whole generation in their everyday and night life. Their music made us laugh, cry, be happy, lazy, arrogant, kind, sophisticated and trendy. And their music made us fall in love.

Confess — who did you think of when listening to “Wonderwall?” Who did you count on when listening to “Stand by Me?” What was torturing you with the song “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” and what were you bored of while hearing “The Importance of Being Idle?” All these songs are connected with a period of our lives, and each of them has a unique story — common and at the same time personal for each of us. We loved them and now we have the chance to live with these songs again.

All in all the album consists of 26 songs, including “Supersonic,” “Roll With It,” “Live Forever,” “Wonderwall,” “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” “Songbird,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” “The Hindu Times,” “Stand By Me,” “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down,” “Shakermaker,” “All Around The World,” “Some Might Say,” “The Importance Of Being Idle,” “D’ You Know What I Mean?”, “Lyla, Let There Be Love,” “Go, Let It Out,” “Who Feels Love?”, “Little By Little,” “The Shock Of The Lightning,” “She Is Love,” “Whatever,” “I’m Outta Time,” and “Falling Down.”

The recording of the last Oasis concert, which took place on July 21, 2009 in Roundhouse, London, and the DVD of their best videos, including previously unreleased ones, is also available. This is a total paradise for their fans.

The best Indie rock band of the 1990s is not dead — it’s alive. You just have to reach out and grab it…
