Scandalous Detroit rap star Eminem is back again.
Eminem, known for his rebellious behavior, is one of the most famous white rappers if not the most famous one in the US. He continues to influence countless rap listeners that follow in his steps. Many were looking forward to his return.
Thirty-six-year-old Eminem’s sixth album “Relapse” was to be released in 2008, but it was delayed until 2009.
In one of his interviews, Slim Shady, as Eminem is also known, announced that now he has freed hemself from all the problems connected with drugs and the law, he feels good and is ready to continue his music career. The rapper also said that this time he doesn’t want a lot of attention. Of course he wants attention, but not that much.
Five years have passed since the rapper’s last release. Eminem’s new album contains 20 tracks in partnership with 50 cent, T.I. and Dr. Dre. It’s not the first time that he collaborated with Dre. In the CD there are tracks related to his mother, such as the song “My Mom.” Eminem brings back one of his favorite characters Ken Kaniff with the song “Underground.” The album is a significant contribution to the genre of rap music. The rapper is a perfectionist in his work. That’s why he never announces his CD release date.
In the songs of his latest album the rapper again and again satirizes and criticizes celebrities making themselves a laughing stock in the eyes of public. In his new album there are songs related to Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan.
“Relapse” is a multi-conceptual album as any other previous album by the pop star. Eminem touches upon different themes and problems and every song differs so much from the other. The CD includes personal songs and club songs. This album is guaranteed to remain on top of the rap charts.
Eminem’s “Relapse” is essential listening and an indispensable edition to any rap music lover’s collection.
