“Love Is The Answer” is the latest album by Barbara Streisand. The album is set to be released on September 29 by Columbia Records.
The producer of the forthcoming album is Diana Krall, the Grammy-winning Canadian jazz musician with whom Barbara is working for the first time.
The promotion of the album will take place at Village Vanguard on September 26.
“Love Is The Answer” is Barbara Streisand’s first full-length studio album since 2005. In her latest album Barbara is presented as a cabaret and jazz singer of emotional lucidity, ripeness and depth suggesting an intimate choice of late night thoughts on love’s powers and consolations.
Streisand’s upcoming album is a pop and jazz collection and contains the following songs: “Here’s To Life,” “The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning,” “Gentle Rain,” “If You Go Away (Ne Me Quitte Pas),” “Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most,” “Make Someone Happy,” “Where Do You Start?” and several more beautiful songs.
The album will be released on CD and Vinyl LP formats.
