Mikas The Boy Who Knew Too Much AlbumMika’s forthcoming album is titled “The Boy Who Knew Too Much.”  This is the Grammy-nominated and BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter’s second studio album, the CD release date of which is scheduled for September 21, 2009.

“The Boy Who Knew Too Much” is produced by Greg Wells, who is also the producer of Mika’s first studio album “Life in Cartoon Motion.” The album was recorded at Rocket Carousel Studios. It includes the following thirteen tracks: “We Are Golden,” “Rain,” “Blame It On The Girls,” “Blue Eyes,” “I See You,” “Dr. John,” “Touches You,” “Toy Boy,” “By The Time,” “Pick Up Off The Floor,” “One Foot Boy,” “Good Gone Girl” and “We Are Golden” (Acoustic Version) (Bonus Track).

The cover of the album was designed by Mika’s sister. The inspiration for the album cover were picture books for children.

The theme of the album is Mika’s teenage years, about which he has a lot to tell. The Grammy-nominated singer describes the album as the second part of his first studio album. At first Mika wanted to call his upcoming album “We Are Golden,” but he changed his mind saying that wanted a more interesting title.
