Jordin Sparks Releases “Battlefield”

Jordin Sparks Releases BattlefieldJordin Sparks is now putting finishing touches to “Battlefield,” her second album, which is to be released on July 21, 2009.

Jesse McCartney and Ryan Tedder have greatly supported Jordin with her new album. Ryan Tedder, who has also worked with Timbaland and Leona Lewis, is the author of the Battlefield’s music and lyrics. By the way, the Batterfield will be the first song in the album.

This album is the follow-up of her first self-titled album, which was released in 2007 and went platinum. The songs that will be included in the new “Battlefield” album are already known: Battlefield, Let It Rain, Walking On Snow, Faith, Paper Cut, When The Pain Goes Away, Just Me, On The Inside and Vertigo.

Jordin Sparks has announced that the album will be in RB style. Almost all included songs are lively and energetic. And as Jordin declares, all the songs are about love, strength and faithfulness.

Here is what the singer says about the title of the album:
“To me, the title ‘Battlefield’ is about strength and perseverance,” Jordin explains about the album and song title. “Things can go from good to bad in an instant, it could be family, friendship or work; and my favorite line in the song is, ‘you better go and get your armor,’ because it’s telling you to be prepared for that time so that you can overcome it.”

“Battlefield” can already be pre-ordered from Amazon.com at a considerable discount.

I myself am looking forward to Jordin’s latest album‘s release. What about you?
