Pointed out by Billboard.com here’s how our beloved R&B superstar via Twitter shares with us the news about her latest album, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” You devoted fans of Mariah should open up your welcoming hearts and look forward to her sincere and sweet memoirs. The title itself already promises a similar success to the singer’s previous albums: Emancipation of Mimi and E=MC².
The singer herself is very excited with the upcoming album release and that excitement directly passes onto her frankest fans.
“Memoirs” — Mariah’s 12th studio album — comes to match the eternal age she’s described herself in. The latest album‘s first single pick, “Obsessed,” is already being played on the radio. It’s written by Mariah herself and produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. The latter two are also in charge for the vast majority of the “Memoirs” tracks. The “Obsessed” video is directed by Brett Ratner.
The scheduled CD release date is August 25 by Island Def Jam. Personally I’m very excited for a future addition to my beloved collection of Mariah Carey’s albums.
