The Resistance: Muse's Forthcoming Album

The Resistance: Muse's Forthcoming AlbumEnglish alternative rock group Muse is about to release its upcoming album “The Resistance.” Its official CD release date is set for September 14, 2009. The album was released in the US on September 5, while it will come out in Japan on September 16 and in Brazil on September 17.

The producer of the album is the band itself, and it was recorded at Studio Bellini.

This is the group’s fifth studio album. The first one being “Showbiz,” the second one “Origin of Symmetry,” the third  ”Absolution” and the last, “Black Holes and Revelations.”

The forthcoming album is considered to be rather positive, as the band says. Play.com described it as “a genuine modern masterpiece” and State magazine believes it is just a piece of art.

“The Resistance” includes 11 songs: “Uprising,” “Resistance,” “Undisclosed Desires,” “United States of Eurasia/Collateral Damage,” “Guiding Light,” “Unnatural Selection,” “MK Ultra,” “I Belong to You/Mon Cœur S’ouvre à ta Voix,” “Exogenesis Symphony Part I (Overture),” “Exogenesis Symphony Part II (Cross-Pollination)” and “Exogenesis Symphony Part III (Redemption).” All the tracks are written by the members of the band– Dominic Howard, Matthew Bellamy and Christopher Wolstenholme.

The internationally famous vampire movie “Twilight” brought fame to many rock bands, and Muse is no exception. The band’s famous single “Supermassive Black Hole” was on the soundtrack to the movie.

Hurry to get the newest CD by this extravagant band, the music of which is a fusion of many music styles, such as electronica, progressive rock and classical music.
