Celebrating Sade’s New Album

Celebrating Sades New AlbumThe time has come. The three-time Grammy winner Sade is going to sway us with a long-anticipated new album. The world’s most “soulful” vocalist Sade and her long-time band are releasing their sixth album called “Soldier of Love” on February 9.

The long wait was worth it.

The forever classy vocalist Sade explains the long expectation of the album with her desire to sing only when she has something to say. She also wants to work not for the commercial success, but for the love of the audience.

The new album does not demonstrate a deviation from her style, yet it has a more electric sound. The songs on the album include “The Moon and the Sky,” “Soldier of Love,” “Morning Bird,” “Babyfather,” “Long Hard Road,” “Be That Easy,” “Bring Me Home,” “In Another Time,” “Skin” and “The Safest Place.”

Despite the fact that there have been only five studio albums released so far, Sade had a tremendous success in the 80s and 90s, with hits such as “Smooth Operator,” “By Your Side” and “King of Sorrow” which are still on top of the favorite songs ever.  All five albums have been on the billboard music charts.

Though it’s been 10 years since the release of Sade’s last album “Lovers Rock” in 2000, her music is always played on the radio. Due to her always elegant and sophisticated persona and “smooth” performances, as well as her sound’s combination of various music genres, such as soul, R&B and jazz, the music always withstands the tests of time.

So, let’s welcome Sade’s return and enjoy her perfect music.
