Elton John: The Legendary EnglishmanHaving started his career as a pianist in clubs, Elton John is one of the most famous musicians in the world today. It’s not a secret that nowadays Elton John tickets are not easy to get because of his popularity and large fan following.

Elton Hercules John, the great pop-rock singer, composer and pianist, was born in Pinner, Middlesex on March 25, 1947. Both his parents had some connections to the music world. His father, Stanley Dwight, was a trumpet player in a band. In spite of this, he didn’t encourage John’s idea of becoming a singer. It was thanks to John’s mother, Sheila Eileen, who always bought records of the best musicians of the time, that John became musically literate. He was still a child, when he started to love and appreciate rock and roll music.

Elton John started his career of entertaining at the age of 15 as a pianist in pub, playing popular music. The evenings in this pub and the small salary he got were the first steps toward his stardom and international music acclaim.

The legendary Elton John has 5 Grammy Awards, one Academy Award and countless others. Since 1969 (the year of his first album “Empty Sky”) John has composed about 30 albums and more than a 100 singles. Many musicians and composers are greatly affected and inspired by him.

In addition to his great talent and popularity of his music career, Elton John is greatly involved in AIDS charities. The untimely deaths of his friends Ryan White and the famous singer Freddie Mercury evoked him to become actively involved in AIDS charities. Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) was established in 1992. The mission of this foundation is to try to prevent HIV/AIDS infection and provides special services to those affected by it. He now adds great humanitarian to his very impressive lifetime achievements list.

Currently, Elton John is on the U.S. leg of his international Red Piano tour, which will proceed to Europe in mid-November. There is no doubt that these Elton John tickets are in high demand since he has die hard fans in every corner of the globe. This legend of a man is loved by many for his flare, for his talent and perhaps most importantly, for his generous heart.

    I am also one of Elton’s die hard fans. He has craved his career path by his own efforts. He is an embodiment of kindness and talent. Such kind of persons are rarely born.
