The untimely deaths of his friends Ryan White and the famous singer Freddie Mercury evoked him to become actively involved in AIDS charities. Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) was established in 1992. The mission of this foundation is to try to prevent HIV/AIDS infection and provides special services to those affected by it. He now adds great humanitarian to his very impressive lifetime achievements list.
Currently, Elton John is on the U.S. leg of his international Red Piano tour, which will proceed to Europe in mid-November. I am also one of Elton’s die hard fans. He has craved his career path by his own efforts. He is an embodiment of kindness and talent. Such kind of persons are rarely born.
