The abundance of many radio stations gives many of us opportunities for listening to music and getting information about everything.
Since the 20th century radio was the main source for information. People were gathering together with their families, sitting in their living rooms and hearing various news and radio shows such as Superman, Groucho Marx, The Avenger, Gunsmoke, Sherlock Holmes and so on.
At first radio was called “wireless telegraphy” then the British made it shorter by calling it “wireless.” Now when saying radio we understand the chip. “Wireless” gained another meaning such as a way of radio communication.
Radio is a source for information and with the help of it you can hear not only your favorite music, but also different shows and even amazing stories. With the growth of development you can download these shows and listen to them whenever and wherever you want as you can keep them in your computers and even save them on CDs.
Now there are a lot of programs on different radio stations that include contests that focus your attention on them. You need to concentrate in order to be able to answer their questions.
The latter refers to songs. The listener should either continue to sing the song and identify who is its composer, singer and so on. If your answer is correct, then you are to be awarded. The prize can be a disc, a ticket to a music concert, a poster with your favorite artist or something else.
So when you listen to the radio you not only get information about the world, you also increase your musical knowledge.
